CALL FOR ENTRIES: BRANDEIS SUKKAH ART 2003 The Hadassah International Research Institute on Jewish Women is holding a juried competition to select five original works of art to be displayed inside its Sukkah, October 10-20, 2003. Artists should create a proposal sketch for a panel 3 feet wide by 4 feet long, highlighting Sukkot themes and incorporating at least one Hebrew word (written in Hebrew). Finished panels must be able to withstand outside exposure for seven days and be mountable on wooden slats. Please send letter of interest, panel sketch (artist name on back only), and a SASE. Deadline is July 15, 2003. Jury notification: August 8, 2003. Delivery of chosen panels will be on or around October 8, 2003. There is no entrance fee; $200 honoraria will be awarded to winning artists. Artist is responsible for all materials, costs associated with the work, and shipping or delivery costs.
